Mina is an Asian inspired All-Day Fast Casual Eatery launched in Berlin, Germany. We believe in cool vibes and “Good Earth”principles.
Our menu is primarily focused on three areas: Baos, a Taiwanese sandwich, that allows us to feature the diverse flavors of Asia; Greens, grilled, roasted, braised, or cold, assembled to bring the umami flavors of that region; and lastly, Soft Serve, our small-batch ice cream blends that are free of dairy, soy, and any additives/preservatives.
Tasks
You will be the first impression customers have of Mina. During your shift, you will be responsible for ensuring the best possible customer experience.
Your job responsibilities will be:
- Greeting customers and making them feel welcome!
- Taking customer orders, delivering food orders to their respective tables/take out, and returning all service ware to the kitchen
- Handling and receiving payment
- Assuring all customer facing components of the restaurant are set-up, clean and in working order for service hours. These include, but are not limited to:
- Wiping down all tables and chairs before service; maintaining a clean dining room experience
- Vacuuming and mopping all floors in the bar, dining room, corridor, and guest WC areas
- Setting up outdoor seating/
- Wiping down all bar area components
- Maintaining the cleanliness of all barware, glassware, FOH cutlery etc.
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the espresso machine
- Cleaning and preparing the soft serve ice cream machine for flavor change(s)
- Cleaning and preparing the cold press juicer for service/making the juice for the schorle
- Shutting off all FOH equipment at end of service hours (if applicable)

- Are authorized to work in Germany
- Live in Berlin, as in, you have an “Anmeldung” here
- Have a “Rote Karte”
- Speak English, mindestens B1 Deutsch
- Plan to stay in Berlin for the next two (2) years
